In my life I haven’t inherited much: a few pieces of art from the Beth El art fair, some (ugly?) china with flowers from the old country, a silver ladle, a different set of (ugly?) china from a different old country, a saxophone, my grandfather’s typewriter from 1910, some photos, and other inconsequential bric-à-brac.
But there’s something I also occasionally inherit: listings.
As you know, I’ve warned y’all over and over against giving the listing of your home to your Aunt Barbara who still has trouble signing on to the internet, your college roommate who’s just getting started in real estate after closing his plant shop, your beloved hairdresser’s cousin’s neighbor from Mundelein, or the discount dude who doesn’t know what a maisonette is and takes closeup photos of the toilets.
You have one opportunity to come on the market the first time - and you want to make it the best. And that’s why you enlist me and my team to do it.
But sometimes sellers come to me only after their first shot hasn’t worked and their place hasn’t sold. When I get that call, we meet the challenge head-on. We analyze the pricing, the marketing, the positioning, the staging - really everything - so we can re-package the property and do our best to re-enter your home into a marketplace which has already seen it and evaluated it. Not an easy task.
Although re-listing with me and my team is not a panacea, at least you can sleep well knowing that the sale of your home is now in the expert hands of someone who should have had it from the beginning: mine.

Northalsted Market Days is one of the largest street festivals in the Midwest - and perhaps the largest LGBTQ-centered one in the world, welcoming 100,000 people to the streets of Northalsted (aka Boystown) for a summer celebration of music, food and dance. You can expect a long list of performers across five stages, including Sixteen Candles, Pussy Riot, KC Ortiz, and DJ Dan Slater; check out the Northalsted Market Days website for a complete schedule.

Ever wish you could go back in time? The 26th annual Retro on Roscoe festival provides Chicagoans an opportunity to do just that. Return to the 1950's and '60's with music enthusiasts, families, and gearheads.
Three stages playing oldies and throwbacks will be spread amongst an eminent six-block stretch in Roscoe Village. In addition,
artisans, antique vendors and cool merchants provide an offbeat shopping atmosphere that is second to none. Roscoe Village’s top restaurants will also serve up much-desired summer treats that will keep the whole family pleased.
