After years of resisting assistance in my growing and thriving business, I realized that I needed to enlist others to help me effectively represent my clients. But as a perfectionist, I found it difficult to find anyone to rise to that same level.
But then 18 years ago, I crossed paths with Jim Paddleford, a true gentleman and an experienced real estate broker with a successful track record on the west coast who was moving to Chicago on a mission to join forces with someone with a similar work ethic.
And so began a partnership which spanned almost two decades, thousands of clients, an often erratic economy and market, and countless demands on time, energy, and focus. Unfailing in his commitment to the success of the Brad Lippitz Group, Jim devoted himself 1000% to the needs of our clients. With elegance, savvy, and keen insight, Jim never stopped. He lived, breathed, and cherished his role.
And my clients always saw him as an extension of me: they trusted him, enjoyed his company, and turned to him for his advice and guidance. Together, we were a machine - constantly running, strategizing, and working to make sure that both our buyers and sellers got the best representation in Chicago.
As my business grew even more, the Brad Lippitz Group expanded with additional incredible team members who share this same mojo. I am so fortunate to have built this small and mighty team - one of the top 10 in all of Chicago.
But I could not have achieved these heights without Jim. Sadly for me, Jim retires today and will move back to the west coast with his husband, Dent. His departure leaves countless clients satisfied with where and how they landed - and a legacy of immeasurable success.
And he leaves me with memories of an amazing partnership and a deep and respectful friendship I expect to last the rest of my life. Thank you, Jim. With so much love and admiration, the entire team - together with our entire client base -wishes you a fond farewell and best of luck on your next chapter.
