As many of you know by now, one of my core beliefs is that everything in the world is either for sale or negotiable.
Through the years, I’ve put almost everything on the table: bar stools, grandma’s Herculon furniture, fake Tiffany lamps, 20-year-old Costco deck chaises, used grills, plants (!), CD players, and even a pair of Jimmy Choos. We’ve negotiated in lease-backs, the Porsche in the garage, staged furniture, seller financing, a week in the Bahamas, two weeks in the Bahamas, a cat, long closing dates, and more contingencies than you can ever dream of.
I’ve had sellers throw in autographed photos of the
Partridge Family.
But there is one thing which can’t be bought or negotiated:
your vote.
Kudos to our neighbors in the great State of Wisconsin for resisting temptation and demonstrating that no wacko billionaire offering crazy amounts of money to swing an election will succeed. Nope, the Wisconsin Supreme Court is not for sale.
And my opinion is not negotiable.
Have a great weekend!
Best,
Brad

Opening Weekend for the Cubs at Wrigley!
|
|
|
There's nothing like the opening series for the Chicago Cubs at the friendly confines of Wrigley Field, the second oldest MLB park! Wrigley first opened in 1914 as Weeghman Park for Charles Weeghman's Chicago Whales of the Federal League, which folded after the 1915 baseball season. The Cubs played their first home game at the park on April 20, 1916. The Chicago Cubs welcome fans to Wrigley Field for the first home series of the 2025 season this weekend, taking on the San Diego Padres with three games from Friday through Sunday, April 6. If the weather’s too dreadful or you can't score tickets to attend a game in person, grab a seat at the best sports bars in Chicago so you don't miss any of the bat-swinging action.

And all season long you'll find breads, cheeses, cured meats, eggs, flours, grains, honey, hot sauce, jams, lentils, maple syrup, mushrooms, pasta, pesto, pickled vegetables, popcorn, sauces, tea & vinegars, not to mention donuts, sandwiches, pastries & pies.
