If it were carpet time in Miss Ender’s 2nd grade class, I would say that I’m thankful for my gerbils Hank and Linda, Barry Manilow for writing the songs, and my grandparents for giving my sister Deena the easy bake oven for her birthday at my urging because it’s really what I secretly wanted.
But it's been a long time since Miss Ender’s class, and this is my weekly real estate eblast where it would just seem silly to say that I’m still thankful for an easy bake oven. Which I am.
Given the forum, I will say this: I am exceptionally thankful for my incredible clients who entrust me to help them navigate their home purchases and sales; my storefront office on Broadway where all the magic happens (and where we always have peanut butter-stuffed pretzels in the back); and the best team in the industry: Stewart Smith, Anne Killarney, Brittany Shapiro, Rusti Segares, Bracken Foster, Jeremy Leffler, and (of course) Yoni Pizer.
This life is a good gig. Let’s savor every moment.

To see one of the largest displays of holiday lights within city limits, you need to head to Lincoln Park Zoo, where the annual ZooLights display strings up millions of LED blubs. While most of the animals will be keeping warm inside, visitors are free to wander through the park, snapping photos of the various displays and taking part in a variety of activities throughout the holiday season. There are some new ticketed features to look forward to this year—including a Ferris wheel for ogling the lights from a bird's eye view—and as always, guests will also be able to enjoy hot beverages and snacks at stands throughout the park.
