Like everyone during this holiday season, I wish you peace, joy, love, and happiness. You can’t argue that those are good things, and I sincerely wish them for you this holiday season.
But, I wish peace, joy, love and happiness for you every minute of every day of every year. I wish you peace, joy, love, and happiness in the good times, the hard times, and even when there’s a leap year.
I wish you peace, joy, love, and happiness when you’re with your family, when you’re at home alone, and when you’re at a bad cocktail party and your partner can’t read the signal that it’s time to leave.
I wish you peace, joy, love, and happiness when you get stuck in a carwash, when you sleep through your alarm, and especially when you can’t get that piece of chicken out from between your teeth.
Peace, joy, love, and happiness to you whether you fly coach or business (or even in an exit row), whether you spend too much scrolling through lousy Instagram recipes, and whether or not you appreciate an expansive Dutch Colonial with a turret of all things.
I even wish peace, joy, love, and happiness if you're that moron pedestrian who asserts your right of way in a crosswalk by pushing your baby carriage through first when there’s oncoming traffic (but I wish your baby more peace, joy, love, and happiness. I also pray for your baby).
As tempting as it is to go on and on (and on), I’m going to just stop here and wish you all continued, ongoing, and everlasting, peace, joy, love, and happiness.
Happy and merry everything to all!
Best,
Brad
