Visit the Immersive van Gogh Exhibit

The US premiere of the new Immersive van Gogh Exhibit - seen by over 2 million visitors in Paris - is right here in Chicago and brings the art of Vincent to life.
The exhibition is custom-designed to the Germania Club in the Gold Coast, projecting entrancing, moving images that highlight brushstrokes, detail, and color – truly illuminating the mind of a genius. Be immersed in Van Gogh’s works – from his sunny landscapes and night scenes to his portraits and still life paintings. The installation includes the Mangeurs de pommes de terre (The Potato Eaters, 1885), the Nuit étoilée (Starry Night, 1889), Les Tournesols (Sunflowers, 1888), and La Chambre à coucher (The Bedroom, 1889).

Celebrate Chicago Black Restaurant Week

This year’s Chicago Black Restaurant Week will be two weeks long instead of one, giving you more time to enjoy delicious food from amazing restaurants and take advantage of exclusive CBRW 2021 deals. Participating restaurants include Pearl's Place in Bronzeville and Soul Shack 53 in Hyde Park. Although 2 of our favorite restaurants aren't participating in CBRW, I'm sure they would welcome your business: Ms. T's Southern Fried Chicken (down the block from our office!) and Chicago Chicken and Waffles in Bronzeville.
