Into the Weekend 2.14.25

Into the weekend...

Although I’ve never been one to celebrate Valentine’s Day (except when Debby B gave me some watermelon candies in 4th grade to cement our relationship), I think it’s time to fess up.

No offense to Debby B or to the love of my life for the last 38 years, this Valentine's Day I’m acknowledging my true love: real estate. Even though we have shared our ups and downs through the years, you always seem to excite me with your variety, your unpredictability, your market swings, and your unique ways of seeing the world.

You never cease to amaze me with your ability to upgrade your kitchens, take punches from rogue inspectors, meet appraisers head-on, and even accept special assessments when warranted (which is never easy!). Along the way, you’ve been willing to welcome new furnaces, happily take on additions, and stand proud when your neighbors are torn down for new properties.

We've done so much together. We've searched, we've found, we've negotiated, we've counseled, we've analyzed, we've persevered. We've grown together.  And, dammit, still after all these years...I can't get you out of my mind!

So, happy Valentine's Day to my passion, my love, my career. I will forever hold you close to my heart.

Always and forever,

Brad
