Now that we’re in the throes of 2026, I’d like to report that all of my 2026 New Year's resolutions have officially been met and resolved - in just 9 days!
I’ve already thought about (and readily dismissed) the idea of running the Chicago Marathon (absolutely NOT, with my conditions and all).
I made it through 24 hours (!!) without a glass of (red) wine.
I've successfully limited my coffee intake to one pot per day.
I read a book, and I learned some Spanish - in addition to fajita (pronounced “faheeta”), tortilla (pronounced “torteeya”) and burrito ("burrito").
I’m well on my way to significantly limiting my deep fried food intake, and I have yet to cuss (out loud) at a pedestrian who refuses to make eye contact when crossing the street in front of me.
Significantly, I haven't tripped any of the new people crowding the gym while they try to fulfill their own resolutions.
And I am way nicer to other people’s pets than I was pre-2026.
People are saying that I’m also more open-minded about vessel sinks. Cheers to 2026!
Whatever 2026 holds in store for you, I hope your home gives you comfort, peace and happiness.
And, if not, give us a call.
Best,
Brad
